Santuario de la Luz
A ride through the mountains to the 'Sanctuary of the Light ' is a historical site in Tarifa. You can explore the real Andalusian landscape. We drive through the fields and along narrow paths where you can see all kinds of wild animals . At The Sanctuary is a picnic and then we drive back to the stables.

Ride through Alcornocales Natural Parc
A full day ride in the park of Alcornocales. Today we head into the hills of Tarifa. We drive through the cork oak forests. This is a wonderful trip into the hinterland of Tarifa.

Day trip to Paloma Baja
We drive on the beach along the Atlantic Ocean over the dunes and through the pine forests until we reach the hidden town of Paloma Baja. During this ride you will have stunning views over the sea to Morocco.

About riding in Andalusia

Thirty or forty years ago, cattle herders on horseback went on the "royal cattle drive trails and the cattle of their landlords back to the fertile cool grasslands and in autumn to their native stables.

Getting there
2,000 km are too much to drive! Flights are available at a very favorable, the nearest airports are Malaga, Seville and Jerez de la Frontera.

Air / Travel time: best time to visit Andalusia is March to June and September to December. Also, the summer is because of the proximity of the Atlantic a good time to travel because of the constant wind on the coast Levante blows.
