The house is set in half an acre of lush gardens including many lemon, apple, pear and orange trees on the gentle slopes of the Sierra de Cabrito some 400 feet above sea level. El Cuarton enjoys a micro climate which sees a pleasant breezes blowing through the gardens and the temperatures 5-7 degrees cooler than Tarifa town. The area enjoys a temperate winter providing an all year round paradise. El Cuarton is located 8km outside Tarifa with a 15 minute drive to some of the best beaches in the area and a 20 minute drive to the city of Algeciras.

La Chaparilla is set on two floors with lovely spacious rooms throughout, furnished with very simple natural pieces from Indonesia, India, Morocco and local Tarifa. The fully fitted kitchen diner is well equipped with gas hobs, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine and an abundance of cooking utensils.

The upstairs lounge with its lovely fireplace provides a relaxing and informal area to read and enjoy the views into the garden. The lounge has direct access out onto a wonderful veranda where you can enjoy your breakfast or a glass of wine watching the boats pass through the Straits and the morning mist clear to reveal the mountains of Morocco.

The three spacious bedrooms provide comfortable sleeping for six people in two double beds and two single beds. The downstairs bedroom has its own direct access in to the gardens. The house has two bathrooms with showers.

In addition to the upstairs lounge there is a cool and spacious chill out room downstairs with a big comfy sofa and lovely views on to the garden. The room is equipped with a 38" flat screen television, satellite and DVD player.
