The main courtyard is an awesome jungle of palms and hibiscus, filled with the heady scent of an ancient jasmine clambering over the high wall.

Decorated with great taste and charm, each room has its own character and flair.

The large farmhouse kitchen is the heart of the house. Full of charm, with high ceilings wooden beams, it's a pleasure to cook in such wonderful surroundings. It's well equipped with dishwasher, gas hob, electric fan oven, two large fridges and a large freezer. Stunning Moroccan plates and marble dishes add an extra dimension to any dinner and you'll find a cupboard full of candles and beautiful things to decorate the table.

If you feel like eating out, there are a number of great places to eat nearby; beach chiringuitos, tapas bars and some superb fish restaurants. The manager will be happy to make reservations for you.

The large sitting room has plenty of comfortable sofas and a card table. The open fireplace provides a great atmosphere in the cooler months.

On the lower ground floor there is an impressive old brick wine cellar, a billiard room with an extensive collection of books and a TV room and playroom for children.

The Dining Room is a great place for entertaining in the cooler months. This beautiful room has a large antique dining table and seats 14 with ease.

The 'kitchen terrace' has one of the most spectacular views imaginable. This stunning terrace is the perfect place for a quiet breakfast overlooking miles of unspoiled countryside, Andalucian horses grazing quietly below.

On balmy summer evenings, this is the ideal spot to enjoy a glass of wine, watching the last of the golden light fade before the cool moonlight takes its place.

Maid service is included in the rental price for 8 hours per day, 6 days per week. If you don't feel like cooking, a cook is available for an extra charge. Food costs charged separately. There is a separate washing machine and drying area, available exclusively for the guests.

Set in a garden of cool greens and white roses and oleander, the 'overflow' style pool keeps the water a deliciously perfect temperature during the summer months, whilst the orange and lemon trees provide plenty of shade for babies and young children on the lawn which surrounds it.

There are four bedrooms in the main house, two further bedrooms overlooking the main courtyard and a honeymoon suite with a private sun-bathing terrace which overlooks the lap pool.Although Tarifa enjoys an almost perfect climate, all bedrooms have air-conditioning and heating.
